Sevington Lake Rules

​

•  Strictly no entry to the fishery before 1pm, which is the start time for your booking. You must depart by 12pm (midday) at the end of your stay

• All gates must be closed behind you and locked where necessary

• Please park considerately in the car park provided. There is to be no parking on the grass or driving around the lake

• A toilet is provided which must be left in the condition in which it was found in

• All litter must be removed from the site

• Maximum of 4 people per booking

• Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult

• Sevington Lake holds no responsibility for the safety of any person or their property when at the fishery and you enter at your own risk. This includes accidents, injury, loss, theft and damage

• No dogs

• No fires. BBQ’s can used but must be elevated off the ground to avoid burning the grass

• Anti social behaviour will not be tolerated

• Where possible please take photos of each fish caught

• Unless it’s an emergency, please do not leave the lakes between 10 pm or 6 am. (Please inform us if this does occur)

• Rods must not be left unattended

•  Unhooking mats, nets and slings are all provided. Please do not bring your own equipment to the lake. Unhooking mats must be used at all times. Damage or loss to Sevington Lake equipment will be charged for

• Retention slings must only be used for a maximum of 30 mins

• Minimum of 15lb mainline is to be used. If your mainline breaks, or you get snagged (i.e on the island) call for assistance. Do not pull for a break

• No artificial bait, plastic or foam.

•  Leads must only be semi fixed or free running

• Shop bought particle only

• Barbless hooks only

• Welfare is at the forefront of Sevington Lake ethos, and therefore all anglers must be in possession of a medikit

• Removal of fish is illegal and any person doing so shall be prosecuted

Payment for bookings is acknowledgment that you have read, accepted and will comply with the terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in an instant ban and no refund
